October's Focus: Samhain - Discover the ancient roots of Samhain. In this class, we’ll dive into the history of Samhain, explore its connection to modern day Halloween, and discuss the themes of death, rebirth, and the thinning of the veil. We’ll then conclude with a hands-on ritual to honor the magic of Samhain and guide you in celebrating this sacred holiday in your own practice.

Explore the mystical realms and ancient arts of witchcraft. Immerse yourself in the world of magic as we delve into the rich history, traditions, and practices of witchcraft. This introductory course is designed for both curious beginners and those seeking to deepen their understanding of the craft.
Throughout the course, you will:
- Discover the History: Uncover the roots of witchcraft, from its historical origins to its evolution through various cultures and traditions.
- Learn Magical Practices: Explore fundamental magical practices, including spellcasting, potion-making, and ritual ceremonies, guided by experienced practitioners.
- Understand Tools and Symbols: Familiarize yourself with the tools of the craft, such as crystals, herbs, and divination tools, while deciphering the symbolic language of witchcraft.
- Connect with Nature: Embrace the inherent connection between witchcraft and nature, understanding the importance of lunar cycles, seasons, and the elements.
- Ethics and Responsibility: Discuss the ethical considerations within the practice of witchcraft and how to approach magical workings with responsibility and respect.
- Create Your Grimoire: Craft your personal Grimoire/Book of Shadows, a magical journal to document your spells, experiences, and reflections on your journey.
Our Witchcraft 101 class is a safe and inclusive space for individuals of all backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. We will discuss many different ways to connect and practice. We are passionate about keeping closed practices sacred and we are careful to only use magick from our own cultures while holding space for open dialouge from different practices and cultures.
